This morning I beat feet back out to Cathedral Cove to try to get some aerial footage with the DJI Inspire. Yesterday I got back out there too late for acceptable light. This morning, there were more clouds than clear spots, but with a little patience, I was able to get quite a few nice scenes. Here are some still frames from some of the scenes:
Mare’s Leg Cove from the air. That green space above it is the windy headland that I flew out over yesterday afternoon.
An excursion boat coming around into Mare’s Leg Cove from Stingray Bay.
The headlands cliffs between Mare’s Leg Cove and Stingray Bay.
A couple of times while I was battling the cloud cover, I got some interesting light.
A view from Cathedral Cove’s signature rock formation back toward the cave access to Mare’s Leg Cove.
The “Cathedral” cave linking Mare’s Leg Cove and Cathedral Cove.
The rock formation at the end of Cathedral Cove.
Some Sea Birds buzzed me a bit. I always feel a bit uncomfortable when they do that. Especially when I’m flying over water.
