Puketi Forest

I didn’t travel too far today, less than an hour inland. Today is a rainy day, so I decided to head to the rainforest. On the way, I stopped at Rainbow Falls. No Rainbows today, you need a bit of sunshine to make a rainbow, but the falls were going strong from the recent rainfall.


When I arrived at Puketi Forest campground, I was the only one here (still am). I did a short walk on one of the trails that lead out of the campground but it was too soggy and dark to do much photography. Tomorrow is supposed to be partly cloudy, so maybe in the morning I can try the forest again. I’m heading further North tomorrow and hoping for some more nice sunshine.
