Countdown
Well, my days left here in the US are numbered. This is the longest that I’ve spent in the States in many years. Normally, I only stay for a couple weeks on a visit, but this time it’s been over 2 months. Of course there were some excursions during that time, but they were all within the US also. I have about a week left and then I’m off on Part 2 of my 2015 travels. Next stop: New Zealand. I’m renting a Motorhome (they call it a Campervan) on the North Island for a month. Then I will go to the South Island and do the same thing for another month. I will be concentrating on scenic and nature during this portion of the trip and I hope to do quite a lot fo flying with the DJI Inspire Quad. At the end of those two months, I’ll decide if I need to re-visit anywhere before I travel onward. I’m not sure just where “onward” is going to be at this point in time, but probably somewhere in SE Asia so that I’m conveniently positioned for my December instructing commitment at the “Capturing Critters in Lembeh” UW Photo/Video workshop in North Sulaweisi, Indonesia.
