The section of Italy's Mediterranean coastline between Sorrento and Salerno is known as the Amalfi Coast. It is definitely a bucket list item. It was one of my main reasons for traveling south of Naples this trip and I gave myself several days to catch suitable weather. Each day I pushed the trip back waiting for the right time and today was my last opportunity. The weather didn't disappoint me today nor did the long drive along the tiny roads that twist along the rugged coastline between centuries old towns. The only thing I didn't accomplish today was some aerial with the Inspire. Most of the places you can stop for photos are just quick double-parks along the steep cliffs. Even the "official" turnouts don't really have enough space to launch. So I stuck to still photos, nearly all HDR. Here are a few images of the journey from Positano through Amalfi to Ravello:
