Lilongwe, Malawi
The three days at Kande Beach on the shores of Lake Makawi were a total bust. The wind blasted for two days, so diving was not an option. It was so strong at times that it blew the curtains off the windows in the beach chalet I was staying in. All I managed to do was lay out the soundtrack and general structure of the next video that I will shoot in Zambia and Zimbabwe. Now I just have to shoot the footage for it:<) This morning we left Kande Beach for Lilongwe, the capital city and are camping tonight at a nice small campground on the outskirts of town. Tomorrow we will cross over into Zambia where we will be able to get back to some wildlife action at South Luangwa National Park. Not sure if there will be much of a cell signal out there for internet access. It's a 3 hour ride on a really crappy road to get to the campsite. The told us to put our seat belts on, so it must be wicked.
